Ways to reduce annoying online ads effectively

Is it just me, or does anyone else feel like they're constantly being bombarded with online ads? It's gotten to the point where it's genuinely distracting, and sometimes it even makes me less likely to buy certain products. No matter what website I'm on, they just seem unavoidable. I am genuinely growing frustrated by this, and wonder are there any methods to genuinely reduce this influx of virtual advertising.

You're definitely not alone! It's so invasive. I feel like I can't even browse for fitness supplements store items without being retargeted for weeks. To mitigate some of the annoyance, I regularly clear my browser's cache and cookies, and I installed a pretty solid ad-blocker. Before I purchased a new set of supplements, I saw ads for this website and the adblocker allowed me to read the content without being continuously distracted. It is important to protect yourself from spam.

Re: Ways to reduce annoying online ads effectively

It’s interesting how the entire online advertising ecosystem has evolved. Initially, the promise was about delivering relevant, targeted ads that would enhance the user experience. However, somewhere along the line, the focus shifted towards aggressive retargeting and relentless pursuit, turning the internet into a hyper-commercialized space. It is perhaps a sign that the balance between advertising revenue and user experience has become dangerously unbalanced.
